The Concert Hall

Apologies for the terribly fuzzy picture – it was a six second exposure – but this gives you a (blurry) glimpse of the Concert Hall, the largest theater in the Kennedy Center. The hall seats 2,442 and the organ has 4,144 pipes.

You can see a better picture on the Kennedy Center’s virtual tour.

Is this the hall where all of the Honors shows are taped?

  2. Rachel Says:

Actually, that one is next door – the Opera Hall. Unfortunately I couldn’t take pictures in the Opera Hall because there was a set onstage, but you should be able to see it if you go to the virtual tour. Thanks for stopping by!
